CILDO MEIRELES'S EXHIBITION AT THE TATE MODERN

Meireles hoped to study filmmaking, but this dream eventually faded,
and his involvement in the arts took a different turn. He has created
sculptures and installations that involve an element of participation and
often deceive the observer's perception. The proposal for his exhibition
is to deceive the public before its opening by inviting the audience to
see a movie. And only later does audience discover the actual exhibition.
